Order Confirmation
Once we we receive your online order we will process it within 24-36 hours if all items are in stock. If an item is sold out, we will contact you via email or telephone. You can check your order status in your account overview. Once your order ships, you will receive an email from us with an estimated delivery date and tracking information as well as details on how to track your package.
Shipping
All items will be shipped via FedEx, UPS or USPS. Please let us know if you have a preference, otherwise we will choose the option that is best for your area. Orders are typically processed within 48 hours of receipt.
*The option of “Local Pick-Up” is available only to shoppers in or around Portland, Oregon who wish to come pick up their items from our brick-and-mortar shop. Do not select “Local Pick-Up” if you are not able to physically come to get your order at Porch Light (located in Portland’s Pearl District at 225 NW 11th Avenue.)
Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Porch Light wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read through our return policies for information relevant to your order.
If you received the incorrect item, we will issue a full refund or send you the correct item after you have returned the incorrect item to us. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.
If your product arrives broken or damaged, please contact us immediately at porchlightpdx@gmail.com and we will help you make immediate arrangements for a return. Please include your order number within the email. We will issue a full refund or send you a replacement after you have returned the broken, damaged or defective product. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.
All sale items are final sale and excluded from our return policy. Please do not send sale items back to Porch Light as no action will be taken. They will be considered abandoned.
In order to be eligible for an exchange or store credit for unwanted items, returned merchandise must arrive in original condition with original packaging (unopened.) Opened / used merchandise (i.e., body care and perfume) may not be returned.
Exchanges and store credits are granted for returns received within 14 days of receipt of goods according to the tracking information provided to you and us via UPS.
Porch Light must authorize all returns. If you would like to return a product you have purchased from us please send us an email to porchlightpdx@gmail.com with the order details and your name and contact information and we will get back to you right away to arrange the return. Upon receipt of a confirmation email, pack the merchandise in the original package and send pre-paid and insured to:

Please include with your return/exchange, your name, phone number, order number and original packing slip. If you would like to exchange for another item in the store, please be specific about the item you want to exchange for. We need all this information to process your request.
Porch Light is not responsible for refunding shipping cost and we will only pay the cost of return shipping if the return is the result of our error. We strongly suggest that you return the item via an insured carrier (i.e., FedEx, UPS, USPS Parcel Post), and that you insure the item for its full value. Retain all postal and insurance receipts — this will protect you in case the item is damaged or lost in transit. All returns must be pre-paid; we cannot accept COD returns.
Returns are typically processed within 72 hours. Exchange orders will also usually be shipped out within this time frame. You will receive an email detailing the status of your exchange or store credit within that time.
Shipping for International Orders
Order Calculation
To view the total cost of your order, add the desired items to your shopping bag. Once you are finished shopping, click “checkout” and you will be directed to the checkout page. Your total will be calculated in US dollars and will not be inclusive of duties and taxes from the US to your selected international destination.
Customs, Tariffs and Taxes
Duties and taxes are decided by the customs agency within your country. The value of these duties and taxes, if they are incurred, will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into your country. Payment of any duties and taxes is your responsibility, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery. More information can be obtained by contacting your local customs office.
