This polish is part of Death Valley’s “Dust to Dust” collection. These polishes are pigmented using raw, natural materials from various locations. When wearing these polishes, you are physically wearing the place where the minerals in the pigment were foraged. They break down this pigment down with a mortar and pestle. It will have texture as well as larger pieces of pigment present in the polish finish.
Each batch will have slight color variations as we use different parts of the source material. Naturally, larger particles will stick to the bottom and sides of the bottle and not suspend in the polish base. Be aware that the natural pigment in this polish can stain.
Color | Spirulina – made with spirulina from the Sonoran Desert, CA.
Good to Know | Handmade in the Death Valley studio currently located in Taylor, TX (a little outside of Austin). They make, bottle, and ship everything themselves from start to finish. They use premium ingredients and their products are nontoxic, cruelty-free, and made without phthalates and parabens.
To Use | We suggest using a base coat and 2-3 coats of polish followed by a top coat.
