What is a Watering Bell: Depending on who you ask, they may call it a watering bell, a thumb pot, or a thumb watering can. RainPot makes for a great gift for the garden or houseplant lover in your life. Dimensions • Height: 5 inches Width 4.8 inches holding 20-24 ounces of water. Perfect for medium to larger sized plants. The diameter of the thumb covering is 0.4 inches. Over 20 “rain holes” on the bottom for perfect stream, every-time. How to Use Submerge the entire pot into water until full. Wrap your fingers around the neck of the pot and place your thumb over the hole on the top to plug the water in. Release your thumb and the water will drain through the holes on the bottom. Place your thumb over the hole again to stop the water flow. To avoid drips as you move between plants, be sure not to tilt the pot to the side as this can reduce the pressure in the pot and create leaks.  Our planters are 3D printed with PLA - a type of thermoplastic polymer derived from Upcycled materials like Corn, Beets, and Wheat Grass.
