Wax Cast Floral Lily of the Valley Vase Charm Necklace

This necklace is part of Serpentine's collection of original jewelry designs which were first lovingly hand carved from wax then cast locally in metal. Featuring a handled vase charm with a lily of the valley flower on the front. The larger flower has been set with a labradorite cabochon. The sterling silver charm is on a long sterling silver chain and is finished with a silver spring clasp and brass hexagon loop.

 In Victorian times lily of the valley often symbolized a return to happiness and was a frequent motif in mourning jewelry. It is also the birth flower for those born in the month of May.

Labradorite is believed to strengthen intuition and increase motivation.

The charm measures 1.5" long and just over .75" across. The chain is 29" long.
